Bit curious if she will get more backstory and Redemption arc but i guess they just gonna conclude yandere story with "mage help her rehab" since its still mage company responsibility to fix what riri have done.

As much as I hate that stalker, I want to know her story. Being a victim of bullying to the point that made her become desperate and cling to the peck of kindness she received from Kazuki indicates she’s gone through so much. But this doesn’t disregard the things she’s done to Kazuki still. Those were definitely traumatic af.

On a side note, I love the ending of season 1. It’s amazing and more exciting knowing the fact that even up until the season 1’s last episode, Anzu still didn’t imply any love interest. Sasuga Anzu-chan!!! Plus, the sportsmanship of Kazuki telling Junta of his developed feelings for Anzu, and Junta being glad that Anzu is getting recognized by Kazuki instead of getting fired up for the competition is sooooo freaking wholesome. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Junta deserves all the kindness that this world could offer. T^T

Riri, I’m also glad you remained a part of this show up until the end coz if not, I’mma riot. You started this journey of Anzu, so you gotta finish this with us!!!

All criminal cases are not good , but almost every single one of them can be avoided with the right type of help , crazy girl was not lucky enough hence she broke before she could be helped , but now her bullying memories are wiped out too so she deserves her second chance.

This was actually really fun. Not superb but it's always great to see a new twist on the standard formula, with this one actually calling out things in the standard formula without breaking immersion. (at least for me)
Definitely would recommend watching at least once.

Despite Anzu's non-heroine antics, she's one of best girl this year for me. Need S2 of that red haired girl asap.

8 or 8.5 / 10 for me. Parodies trope but also plays some straight in a good way. Funny but also carefully handles serious mental health issues. Verdict: Recommend, strong recommend if you enjoyed ouran host club.

I really like Riri as a character with lots of potential for development. Hoshino and Riri would be really cute together with proper storytelling, but maybe I'm just a sucker for a good twist in romance plots lol

Romantic Killer was brought to you by studio Domerica, the studio behind Seven Knights Revolution, Konosekai, and the short series Flying Witch Petit! NGL, between Hamefura, the final boss isekai, and Trapped in a Dating Sim, I've kinda had my fill with otome anime. Surprisingly, this one wasn't actually all that bad. I'm actually impressed the anime went above and beyond by addressing the cliches and tropes we normally see in otome games, romcom and harem anime.

Rie Takahashi nailed it as Anzu, as did her Taming the Final Boss costar Yuuichirou Umehara as Tsukasa. The guys all actually have some depth to them as well. The show even goes surprisingly dark and tackles serious issues. Any other show, everything this show had to offer would've been treated as a joke, and we'd get yet again more of your typical harem bullcrap, but reverse. This is where my positives end however.
For one, the art and animation aren't much to write home about, though Anzu's expressions DO make up for it. The OP is bland, and while the ED's slightly better, it's forgettable. The OST's nothing to write home about. The characters (namely Anzu), as well as the comedy are my main issues. Anzu comes off as annoying and useless at the start but she's shown to have a heart and be this nonheroine we all love, however it's NOT the main issue so much as Takahashi herself. Takahashi also pulls off a similar voice in the form of Aileen in the final boss isekai, and depending on your stance with Aileen, you're not gonna like Anzu that much. This isn't to say Anzu's a bad character, but rather point out she might not be for everyone. The guys are all cool but nothing worth noting, and Riri just wore me out.

And the comedy is a mixed bag, as there ARE some fun moments, a good portion feel cliche but not to the point it feels forced. Also, unless you enjoy Anzu screaming and being brash to the point she knocks the crap outta Riri, you're gonna hate this. Also, the poop jokes are an instant turn off for me. And the ending is abrupt, though that's due to the manga getting axed. Overall, it's NOT a masterpiece by any means, and I think the show got a bit too much credit for what it's really worth. However it's one of the better anime this year when 2022's a rather mixed bag.
If you enjoy this I recommend Kiss Him Not Me, Ouran Highschool Host Club, and Recovery of an MMO Junkie!
Final Verdict: 7/10

You forgot to mention Kenjiro Tsuda, of the best male VAs(IMO) even in his small support role as Tsuchiya.

Didn't expect this anime to be playing with my emotions (especially ep 11, shit's so tense)

It has many kinds of elements thown into it, but they're not interfering with each other, which basically means "it's perfect".

Can't believe i stalled this anime just because i searched "Is the characters in this anime ended up with each other" and the answer was "No". so i hesitated cause i thought that the romance progress will take Seasons and seasons to complete.

But i gave it a shot to watch this yesterday, and it was a great choice.

One of the greatest romcoms... I loved every single damn episode. Riri unexpectedly became my favourite. I got attached to every damn single character (except stalker and that shitty dad). I laughed my ass off, I fangirled, I tore up a little, I enjoyed. I love this.

Poor Kate did nothing to deserve that. No part of this episode was in her job description ;_;

I know people are saying season 2 is unlikely because of the manga, but there are so many tropes they could have parodied that didn't get covered in this season.

really enjoyed the series. at first I just randomly picked it up when i was desperate (stressed by my rejected research proposal). Didn't have any expectation especially as the title is kinda meh, but glad picked it up and finished it. As for S2, all I can do is wait and hope.

Based on original manga material, sadly I don't think there'll be a 2nd season. But if any, I think it'll be Tsukasa who confessed to Anzu first.
